304 Main Street Kitchen

Full Kitchen Renovation

Project Details

The result of this renovation is a fully reimagined kitchen—relocated and rebuilt to better serve the home and the family who lives in it. The original kitchen, previously positioned at the rear of the home (now repurposed as a mudroom), was relocated to a more central and intentional space. By removing an interior wall and incorporating what was once a three-season porch into the conditioned envelope, we were able to expand the footprint and create a true gathering space within the home. The result is a bright, highly functional kitchen that balances warmth and precision.

Natural wood cabinetry is paired with soft white millwork to create contrast and depth, while stone countertops bring durability and visual texture. A large farmhouse sink anchors the space beneath expansive windows, drawing in natural light and connecting the interior to the surrounding landscape. Layered lighting—including statement pendants and under-cabinet illumination—adds both function and atmosphere, while thoughtful details like open shelving and integrated storage ensure the space works as beautifully as it looks.

Project Outcome

This renovation reflects a careful balance between preservation and progress—honouring the home’s history while delivering a level of finish and performance aligned with today’s standards. The result is a fully renewed home, designed for long-term comfort, functionality, and everyday living at a higher standard.
